ifilm series star Hossein Mahjoub narrates Arbaeen documentary

Iranian actor Hossein Mahjoub has been chosen to narrate new documentary about the Arbaeen march.

Iranian actor Hossein Mahjoub who has starred in popular series run by ifilm is set to narrate a doc about annual march for Imam Hussein's (AS) Arbaeen.

The documentary film titled ‘Strangers’ directed by Mostafa Razagh Karimi tries to depict the philosophy and history behind the religious march of Arbaeen marking forty days after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS).

Mahjoub made his film debut in Bahram Beizaei’s ‘Heavy Rain’ (1972).

This veteran actor has starred in many movies, including ‘Perhaps Another Time’ (1987), ‘The Wasteland’ (1988), ‘Reyhaneh’ (1989), ‘The Moon and the Sun’ (1995), ‘Slivers of the Sun’ (1995), ‘How to Kill Love’ (2002), ‘The Kingdom of Solomon the Prophet’ (2008), ‘Toranj’ (2013), and ‘The Resident of the Middle Floor’ (2013).

He has appeared in several series such as ‘Sarbedaran’ (1984), ‘The Sultan and the Shepherd’ (1981-1984), ‘Jungle Commander’ (1984-1987), ‘The Spiritualists’ (2006), ‘House of Outsiders’ (2008), ‘On the Way to Zayandeh Roud’ (2010), ‘The Times’ (2012), ‘The Star of Life’ (2013), and ‘Ancient Land’ (2010-2015).

ifilm has previously aired some of these series, including ‘The Spiritualists’ (2006), ‘On the Way to Zayandeh Roud’ (2010) and ‘The Times’ (2012),

He won five awards from some Iranian and foreign festivals for his appearance in ‘The Color of God’ (1997), including the Crystal Simorgh of the Best Actor in a Leading Role at the International Fajr Film Festival.
